Today, i'll talk about Japanese children song in Japan.Why?? Because as we know in Japan now, they are lack of youth people and children. Of course, the elderly has been a big problem for Japan and it's predicted that Japan soon will be an empty island without Japanese left if the situation doesn't change.
That's why Japan should work hard for their growth of population.
Back to our topic, about Japanese Children Song, there are so many popular children song in Japan. .
Warabe Uta
Ever you heard about warabe uta (童歌) ?? Well, it' a traditional Japanese songs, similar to nursery
rhymes. They are often sung as part of traditional children's games. They are described as a form of min’yo: traditional Japanese songs, usually sung without accompanying instruments. Teru teru bozu, Fuyu no uta, Touryanse is an example of warabe uta. I found a Teru teru bozu song in other blogs and here is the lyrics of the song:

The centuries-old lyrics are often incomprehensible to modern Japanese (especially to children who are singing it), while others can actually be quite sinister on close analysis. Like a lot of children's songs around the world, because people are used to them from an early age, they are often oblivious to the real meanings.
Mukashi Banashi Song
Then how about song from folktales Japan? Some of the song come from mukashi banashi/ Japanese folktales likes momotaro, urashima taro, etc. It's very famous and popular among children in Japan. I take Momotaro and Urashima Taro as examples of the song.

And so many more. Nowadays, japanese children song are more influenced by western and traditional Japanese music without confusing the two elements.
They are so cute and sometimes shy or afraid to stranger that they dont know. They live and grow in the middle of growth population problem, and in their hands the future of Japan will come. I just hope that they can make Japan better in the future.
So how about it guys?? Because most of children song is easy to be understand, i think it will help you learn about Japanese more. And it's so enjoyable when you sing together with children. My favorite song is momotaro, so once again let's sing together...
